I broke down and traded in a car to a dealer. I cannot believe it. Family was totally shocked.

$1k Craigslist tax.  Not a bad deal.  (I've only sold a few cars but every time just seems to get worse.)

Honest truth, when the forester gets the new engine after it warms up outside i had planned to list on CL for $8000 and let someone beat me up to 7200.  I told a friend of a friend 6500 for his daughter who is getting her license in july.  If he passes, i’m probably taking it to carmax first before listing it anywhere because if i can spend 30 minutes there and get around $6500 it’s worth never taking a craigslist call asking if i could take 1000 now and $10 payments for the next 650 months.
