I spend too much time on this forum apparently.

Last night I dreamt that someone had posted a for sale, cleaning-out-the-garage style thread and that a free V8 race engine was one of the things being offered up. I thought, "that would be a perfect backup engine for the stock car," and I saw that miraculously nobody had claimed it and were instead asking various technical questions about it, so I commented dibs! At that point I woke up, and had to log on just to be sure my groggy brain wasn't getting my realities mixed up. Sadly, in the waking world I have exactly the same number of engines as I did yesterday :(

I have averaged 5.3 posts per day for the last 14 years. 27107 posts. 

That's a lot of hours spent on here but I'm not even in the top 10 on the leaderboard. Keith is over 40k at this point. 

I had one where I owned a junkyard filled exclusively with Corvettes, Miatas and MR-2s, and I was selling off the junkyard and getting rid of the cars, but my rules were that if you were buying a car, you had to drive it out, so it was full of Roadkill-esque thrashes to get them running, and there was a white AW11 that I kept saying "I'm keeping that one for myself." I woke up and went "Wow, how GRM." I then looked out the window to see if there was a white AW11 in my driveway.

I'm a little embarrassed when I look at the leaderboard. Especially since I know that in one software upgrade, everyone's post count was lost. I was in the top 10 before the post dump, went to Zero, and I'm back there again.

I used to think that anyone with 10,000 posts clearly spent way too much time here and needed a life.

I'm stuck at a computer all day now so it's super easy to throw another post up between tasks. I'm going cross-eyed at the moment working on a set of submittals. It is less than fun so easy to distract myself over here. 

25150 since june 2008 in 15 years I've averaged 4.59 posts a day. And im only in the top 20.....

I almost didn't even post in this thread.

I have over 18000 posts and have also near singlehandedly pushed what is essentially my own "Ignore" thread up into the leaderboards for threads.

How the berk am I 3rd? I don't know E36 M3.
