I do love it here, our medical is awesome. When our daughter was born she had to be airlifted to another hospital , then we spent the better part of two weeks there. The bill when we left was 0$.
I won't comment as to our current political leaders but I'm not sure what posting troops on either side of our boarder really accomplishes.
As for our women, I married up and English. But it's funny to see which of my friends growing up ( in a 50-50 French English area) ended up with French vs English partners. Both sides had reputations.
