You win. I recall those MD players. Friend of mine had one of those Digital Tape drives. Played great, just didn't catch on.
I think I have have a drive and a handful of disks. I will check this weekind and they are yours for the shipping.
When I bought my first CD player in 1986, people kept on asking me if I wasn't worried about Digital Audio Tape taking over instead.
12 or 13 years ago, When I asked the guy at Family Video if they had DVDs to rent, he said it's the new Laser Disc and will be a passing fad.
In reply to RossD:
lol just like netflix. why would anyone want to have to go online to rent movies? that will never catch on.
I have 230MB SCSI rewriteable magneto optical drives and disks. Those predate the zip drives. I don't think I have anything with a SCSI card in it anymore.

Hmph! Kids.
I remember using a hole punch on these to double their storage capacity

I really liked Mini Discs when they came out. I thought they were the perfect format for the car. Like a CD, only more storage, more compact, and indestructible. I think I still have an MD player in a box somewhere around here.
I have nothing to add here... but I just tossed an external 2.5 floppy, new in the box. I suppose I should have offered it up here just in case someone was looking to load up those 40kb Heather Lynn jpegs they used to tug to after spending an eternity downloading them at 9800 baud.
I still have my 3 disks from my zip drive. It was an external parrallagram port. Still have the disks, the drive went missing. :\
I have a 750MB USB drive and 7 100MB disks, but I'm keeping mine. Actually I have been thinking about trying to find some more disks. I use them as a backup of a backup for certain files.

I still have bad memories of their SparQ drives.

I am pretty sure I have a NetMD walkman or two in the basement.
I distinctly remember riding Iomega stock down. I kept selling covered calls on it and when it finally crashed, I sold it and came out even, or ahead a couple dollars.
I had a old MD player but sadly it broke. I loved that thing it was so much better than CDs for in the car.
I have a Zip disk and a spare Zip drive somewhere. I don't know what the capacity of the disk is, but if it's 100MB and I can backup the data to something else, I could sell it to you. I'm in the middle of moving, though, so finding it isn't exactly a priority right now.
