What?
It must be the invisible man's van.
Had a hard time linking the pics last night so I 86'ed it.
One more try; Saw this outside the pick and pull on Saturday. Caught my eye, then I saw the Starion wheels. Any idea what it is?
I offer this picture of a Ferrari I spotted;
as well as this gallery of pics I took at Don Laughlin's auto museum I visited earlier this month; Don Laughlins Classic Car Museum
Looks like my old 90 L300 Delica Wagonvan. I had the same wheels on it. I like my new Delica much more, but the starion wheels are down right sexy.
Hey if anyone is in the area of the pick and pull, could they check if that van has power locks. My new Delica does (but has power windows) and I would like to add them to my van. I can make it worth your while.
Chris
back in the early 90's those types of vans where EVERYEHWERE when I lived in Panama... toyota and Mitsubishi also made those types of vans... super short wheel base, engine is under the front seats. I went back to Panama a few years back and had the chance to drive a diesel 15 passenger variant... stick shift obviously ;-)... they work well transporting a lot of people in the fairly low speeds and small roads you find out that way.
on a side note... I recall seeing online someone who had put a supra drivetrain into the toyota version and back in the day I know of a picture on the internet of a work-van version of the mitsu doing wheelies down the strip (complete with ladders on the roof rack)

I don't think the owner would be too happy with that. It was outside the pick and pull, not inside :P
I'm hunting for a set of 4 front Starion wheels, if we jackin parts, I call dibs.
