If I race a Mitsubishi and I make the car number zero, could that offend someone? Or is that just in poor taste?

There was an Evo VIII around here with A6M as part of the plate. (Can't remember the rest, might have been A6M ZERO) And an S4 that had something like PJS M262 or PJ ME262.
The irony is that the S4 was not turbocharged.
I have dreams of an supercharged ls swapped e39 with axs pwr as the plate.
Also, my buick powered miata is called bockscar.
So, im on board with it!!!

Just don't crash into anything and you'll be fine
THAT was bad.....
I'm not gonna get too critical but I do wonder why it is the National Socialist cross is anathema but the Imperial German cross and the Japanese sun god flag are kind ok. It makes my stomach churn still to see the Union Flag especially when frequently worn by younger people who would happily call me a racist to my face as it seems to be a catchall slur amongst said demographic in my town.
Funny I never blanche when I see the English flag - same people different connotations.
You gotta remember there are still some veterans alive out there who might be hurt by it.
Add a Rising Sun flag to the roof with "General Tso" letters on the driver side for the full "Dukes of Hirohito" effect.

So, just like a Zero.

I think the thing that sets the WW2 Germans apart from the Japanese and WW1 Germans is that they went beyond fighting a war to exterminating large groups of people.
Back to the original question I don’t see a problem with it but no one should use me as a moral compass. Or a morel compass but that’s a story for another day.

That's not actually a thing that differentiates the Japanese in WW2.
In reply to red_stapler :
The Japanese weren’t nearly as organized at it is probably a better way to put it.
I used to fly cancelled checks in this Mitsubishi. Those of us that flew it called it meatball. I never received any nasty or negative comments.. I say race your zero
In reply to red_stapler :
Exactly. Some could argue they did a better job than the Germans at that just depending on when you start looking at it. They were not kind and gentle occupying forces in their island hoping campaigns. Their campaigns in China in the mid 30's were brutial in the number of civilians killed.
