That's neat. I'd love to know what the story is here that caused the person to build this (I assume it's custom? Maybe not?). 
 

The cart must fit into the car somehow too right?

Yeah if you can't take the cart with you it would be really difficult to load/unload without it

The only way that cart and the container are going into the SUV at the same time is if you disassemble the cart, it clearly doesn't fold...I'm guessing that whatever he was doing he only had to load/unload at one location where he kept the cart.

A friend was going to do something like this for his hearse, which still had the roller and bier pin arrangement in the cargo area.

At least that's where he got the idea, but I think the carts used in the mortuary business can go up and down.

Hook the cart to a trailer hitch, you're good to go :)
