Because I know we have a few fans here: http://www.ironmaiden.com/maiden-on-the-charge.html
Now I just have to wait for the tickets to go on sale at the Jiffy Lube Live..... On sale now. Kinda spendy.
Between this and B-more Grand Prix back on my summer is looking good.

i've been a fan since high school but have never seen them. WTF? anyway, i saw their documentary a few months ago and i've been looking forward to this tour ever since.
Hmmm. They're coming to San Francisco, that might be worth taking a day off. A little close to Monterrey though. I have seen them in London, but my wife hasn't seen them before and I liked the show in London.
June 29th is pretty close to home.
I hope 10yrs (since I last saw them) hasn't made them too old to bring the house down.
to DSW, yeah, Flight 666. great movie.
to GPS, they can wear depends and sit in wheelchairs for all i care. as long as they can still shred the necks off their guitars and Dickinson's pipes are working right, i'm into it.
Yup... I'll be at that one.
I saw them on the second leg of the Somewhere Back in Time tour a few years ago (the one they filmed the Flight 666 movie on) and they were great. They have a good set list for this tour too... it's supposed to emulate the set they used on the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son tour.
Obligatory Hotlink- Here's some "decorations" I have hanging in my living room related to this subject:
Up the Irons!!! \m/ \m/
A little turned off by the "arena" thing, but I guess where the hell else are you going to see Maiden?

I would expect to see them in an arena.

I'll be honest, I don't even know what the hell they call Lakewood anymore, but I'm guessing that's where they're playing, and it's a pretty E36 M3ty venue. Last time I went was for an outdoor festival...where you weren't allowed to bring blankets to sit on...and it was a 15 minute walk back to the car.

poopie, you get to detroit and i'll get you into the show. DTE Energy Music Theatre (formerly known as Pine Knob) is a pavillion / amphitheatre style place. the sound won't be great but it is a great place to see a show.
