Ticket sale for at least the Midwest/East Coast dates start next week Friday. Plus special guest for the second half of the US tour is Within Temptation.
Last time I saw both in concert was when I still lived in the UK, at the stadium in Twickenham. Again, with Within Temptation opening for Iron Maiden.
Might be time to buy tickets, the other half is also keen to go as it's been a while since she's seen Within Temptation live.
Anybody else planning to go?
Oh, they are coming fairly close
In reply to BoxheadTim :
I'd love to see them, but I really can't stand the crowds at large shows.
In reply to Pete Gossett (Forum Supporter) :
I hear you - I'm not a fan of big crowds myself, so I don't tend to attend concerts by big names. OTOH I'm not sure how many more opportunities I'll have to seem Iron Maiden live.
Hoping to be able to see them Oct 2022 in Columbus Ohio with my brother!
They are coming close, although I hate the venue
Got excited and told the wife about this. She said she wasn't interested and I should go without her.
Turns out she has no idea who Iron Maiden is. Didn't even recognize "Run to the Hills" or "Number of the Beast".
She has acquiesced and grudgingly agreed to accompany me, because if they really are one of the greatest live acts as I assure her they are, she'll be disappointed if she misses it.
The new album senjutsu is pretty good too, if you haven't heard it yet
Got my Columbus show tix today!
Got tix. \m/
Just to get everyone in the mood.
Oh yeah:
"Scream for me, [insert name of city here]!!"
And speaking of live metal, don't forget that Death Angel, Testament and Exodus will soon be on tour.
And, yes, no mistake that I listed Death Angel first. :)
Tickets acquired this morning - looks like the DC venue is selling fairly quickly, at least old people's seats close to the stage.
As we've already had Iron Maiden linked above, here's some Within Temptation:
And here's a newer one (the clip above is from the early 2000s IIRC):
Hoping to, but no shows near Philly (yet?). I've seen them on the last two tours and love the new album, so I'm glad to hear the revised set list will include a few new songs.
In reply to Ian F (Forum Supporter) :
We saw 2008's Somewhere Back in Time Tour that featured classic tunes and we’ve seen every tour since then. I enjoy the new stuff plus the old stuff. I guess it now qualifies as a deep cut, but I'd be up for some Brave New World, too.
Well, saw them last night. Need better seats next time, but overall thoroughly enjoyed the show. Definitely better than last time I saw Maiden.
This was my first time seeing them. That was a stoopidly fun concert.
Scream for me!!
We see them Thursday. \m/
Also, please, no spoilers on the set list.
But still totally looking forward to this:

Bruce just told his fans not to smoke weed at his concert.
Enjoyed it a couple of weeks ago in Detroit. Was sad they didnt play Metal Health though.
