Stampie-I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this drone as I got the same one for a Christmas gift. Too damn cold to take it out yet.

That's cool. That's way more than I thought I could do. Some of the other apps for flying actually have a grid pattern waypoint system intergrated.

I guess we only played for about 45 minutes today. I have no real drone experience. I went into this thinking about the little toy drones Lil Stampie's uncle gave him when he was four. I remember them being uncontrollable. I was impressed today with how stable everything was. Yeah with some wind gust the drone moved a little but I'm thinking like inches. If you let go of the sticks it just stayed there. When Lil Stampie realized he was aiming for his head he let go and the drone stopped. The other thing I was impressed with is the fail safes. I was showing him the return to home and as it started coming down at 4 feet or so the app said the surface wasn't safe for landing and just started hovering. Now I know we were on an artificial turf surface so I just manually landed it. I did a couple of fast passes while lowering the attitude and as it got closer to the ground it prevented me from going too low. I'm sure all modern drones do these things but honestly what I was impressed most was how easy it made it for me.
