Anyone who thinks that on TV has a chance to be worthwhile is unclear on the concept of why it is so popular. Went to a midnight showing of it with my cousins and our 75 year old grandmother. She was very amused by the audience's antics.

So your SWMBO must be 20 years younger than you, you sly fox you. I refuse to believe someone of our generation hasn't seen Rocky Horror
There are still a few virgins out there!

She's only a year younger than me. She just never went. Most of my friends in high school (when I started going), thought it was something that only weird people did. You know, those paisley wearing, new wave types of kids with their hair hanging down into their eyes......

Right. It's the Maserati Biturbo of movies!

The real measure of a person's character is which movie they know Tim Curry from.

I guess I'm the weirdo that enjoyed the original on it's own without going to a special showing.

His performances in both Rocky Horror and Clue were awesome. :)

I watched this on Hulu last night. I enjoyed it. No it isn't the same, no it isn't as good, but it was close enough that I still found myself saying comments out loud (even if they didn't on TV). Some of the characters were really good, Janet's voice was very very close and Riff Raff was pretty good. Rocky's voice was...a little less but she had the accent going pretty well.

How much of Tim Curry's acting was acting? I know he had a stroke not too long ago.
