really only been on the internet outside of the Book of Faces sporadically since last Tuesday, but i think it was a week well spent given that it was because my first child was brought literally kicking and screaming into the world at almost 2am on Thursday morning after 18 hours of labor. we called her Lucille Rose after the girlfriend's grandma:

It was kind of a big deal and he has a new baby to take care of, we should probably just not tell him.

things were kind of dragging along, to the point where the doctor mentioned that they might have to do a c section... we had a screaming daughter a half hour later... she just needed some motivation...

We went 20 before c section. I know them feels. Also, congrats, and hooray for a summer baby. Outdoor birthday parties are soooo much better.
