Ran the Peachtree Road Race this morning and it was so hot and humid even the Kenyans were commenting on the temps. I made it but barely. But that's not the story here.

Freaking house A/C went out this morning. I came home to 80 and rising in the house and will have to wait till tomorrow to get it fixed. Luckily we had a window unit that we setup in the living room to try and take the edge off. The dogs don't even want to move for dinner!

It's 70 and rainy in Ohio, feels a bit cool.

Ours went out yesterday, got up to 85 in the house. Luckily our grumpy old repair guy was working yesterday and had it fixed soon enough to cool the house by the evening. I hate trying to sleep when it's hot.

It was a hot weekend here but that is to be expected when you are on the same latitude as jacksonville. It was a nice and warm running and biking thursday and friday.

I hear you on the AC. We just had the compressor go out on ours a couple of week ago. It was 24 years old and we were looking at replacing it anyways over the winter. Well, that just came a few months early.

In reply to bmw88rider: We try to handle repairs during the off season. I had the furnace replaced last summer and the A/C is only 6 years old. Hopefully it's something minor.
