I miss the arcades from when I lived in Japan. Nothing that extreme but they did have a lot of moving games. One you had to strap in a safety harness and it would invert during play.
neat way to recycle a car that cannot cheaply be put back onto the road either because it failed it's shaken test.. or was not worth putting through it
I hate that game. When you turn (the direction you want to go) you DRIFT in that direction.
As in, I turned in and the car started to drift, I counter steered and "grip drove" right into the outside corner wall!
Now, if those bad boys were hooked up to Richard Burns Rally!
Having been to Japan a few times, I came away with the feeling that many/most? Japanese people are VERY conservative...until they are someplace where they are ALLOWED to go a little crazy. When I went to parks on holidays, you could always HEAR Americans (particularly nearly drunk ones) BEFORE you could see them. Japanese? They don't like to stand out or embarass themselves or those around them, unless it's in an arcade or "nightclub".
That is the most exceedingly amazing arcade thing I think i've ever seen, including the 3 story (!) on a lift game I played in vegas.

Show her what it looks like around Ishigaki and Kabira
(alternate answer: convince her that it is a magical land full of nifty battle mechs.)
you know I was just reading about this game on Cracked night before last. They also have a full body control Mobile Suit Gundam simulator.
