If I hit the lotto I'd love to have a collection of these automotive abominations. I'd drive them regularly just to creep people out, preferably while wearing a leisure-suit.
These are the beginnings of a comic book no one would buy. I will gladly be your nemesis.
Start your collection with one of these.

Excaliber Phaeton matches a leisure suit perfectly.
i think the guy that operates the 24 Hours of Lemons has a standing offer for free or reduced race admission for anyone that brings a T Bird with one of those old Ford body kits on it..
Flinched like Dr. Evil's reaction to Scotty's hair loss.
This one doesn't look completely horrible. The windshield rake just kills these though.

Somebody should build one of these, but cut the roof off and build a new one that looks like it belongs with the rest of the kit.....it would give you a proper rake to the windshield, a decent looking body, and reliable modern internals.
SWEAR_TO_GOD, I had never seen one of these in real life or pics till yesterday. Saw a white one headed in the opposite direction on the highway this morning. (in Early Culyer voice) "'49 Ford body kit torment me."

"Dammit, Rusty..get that damn thing out the driveway!"
"But daddy, the man who sold it to me said girls love it!"
Extra points if you read it in their voices.
