Good to hear, KATYB. I had a buddy at work that went through it all, he says the money & the pain was worth it. Crazy thing..the company we worked for (he still works there) is pretty progressive..the insurance helped out with the surgeries. Helped pay for the top and the bottom.
He says it was a long road, but damn well worth it. Man, I can't even imagine what it's like for y'all. Damn, it's got to be like being in a cage or something. Heal up soon!
so u mean she went through it all?>

Yup. Much happier now. Even has a girlfriend, they're beginning to act like an old married couple. His family is pretty cool with it as well, I think that helped a lot. Says his mom still calls him by the "girl" name every once in awhile, but it's more force of habit than anything hateful.

no you had pronoun right at first i assumed u were talking about about someone who went male to female not female to male. my fault.

didn't know you were going in ... didn't know you had come home ... but now that we know .... hope you're doing well and that the pain is manageable .... don't be all "I'm tough and don't need any help" ... take the drugs and follow the doc's advice .... glad you're back ... we miss hearing from you

No big deal, technically he was a she before having all the work done. He's just been living as a guy for so long (started the moment the hormone treatments began) that I'm used to using the male pronouns.

he has always been right just may not have fit with what was down below.

Enjoy it. Even if the nurses are a pain in the ass.

You know, he even told me that. I should have remembered. Sorry about that.

Do they give you your own room, or is it one of those 'luxurious half rooms' where the other person in the room is suffering from something that either causes non-stop screaming or terrible smells?
Anyone here remember the Brian Regan stand up act about being in the hospital? You should watch it. Laughter helps speed recovery!

Thankyou. And yes despite my pain I feel better than I ever have right now :) and t think august 31st I go back underthe knife. Ugh.
That's your excitement the fact I got a new avatar? Btw that was taken in front of gillete stadium. The munchin is my lil guy.
I'm still pissed that we don't have any bionic options. I mean, to go under the knife for something so radical, I'd at least want to drop in something cool like X-ray vision or the ability to lift cars. Ah well, speedy recovery and enjoy the little guy. Mine was "helping" me wash the car this weekend. (8 months old, mostly just played with bubbles)
And u don't have the ability to lift cars? Dang. Well I got welding laser vision atleast out of this lol.
