I wish my daughter was more into cars. But, I have very little input in her life being 750mi away.

That is a cool story. I hope my son takes an interest in cars at some point. He really only likes them now because daddy likes them. I've tried to get him to help me when doing oil changes and stuff but he doesn't like to get dirty.

Ok, David- time to put on your journalist hat. This video was 2013 when she was 14, the goal was to have it done by her 16th birthday, and it's now 2015- I'm sure the math is pretty clear.
You have done more than one article about kids and cars, this one you could even suggest coming to the challenge for her next project.

Good for her. All of my kids "like" cars but and I can even get them to get their hands dirty from time to time but cars are far from the end all be all for them.

That is really a great story. I hope she finishes. Can GRM reach out to her? If for nothing else to let her know we here applaud what she is doing. We need more like her to carry on this crazy (but fun) hobby.
