Same here...all three of ours are rescues that were abused/starved for who knows how long. All are at least two years old.

One doesn't jump, but he is "special" and had a hard time learning to get on his couch. He also has one eye from trauma, so whatever caused that could possibly have cause a brain injury as well.

One never jumps but she does put one paw up, while sitting on her now fat butt, telling you to pet her.

The 3rd one, and the one in by far the worst condition when he came to us, tries to jump on you because "I'M SO EXCITED!!!!" but we're slowly trying to break him of it.
