Found a 2000 wagon who's owner claims it will need a clutch soon. How hard is this on one of these?

I need a kayak carrying vehicle and this has thudded into my price range.

Other than a non-working speedometer, what else should I keep in mind when looking at one of these fina slädar? (fine sleds)
