That is rather nice looking and I have no love for SUV's.

All the doors and roof pieces fit in the "trunk" which seems nice but leaves no room for "gear".

I had an '86 Bronco II right out of high school. It was a 5 speed, 4wd with the 2.9L. No a/c or power anything. Black over porno red velour interior.

I hated that thing. It got terrible gas mileage, leaked oil from every gasketed surface and rode like an ox cart.

I joined the Air Force shortly after and my mom drove it for a couple of years. It started having issues and my dad was tired of working on it so he sold it to a buddy of his for $800.

I... uh... ach...

I want one. I'm not going to get one, it makes no sense, the closest I come to having any use for it is that I would like AWD in our next wagonthing.

Hey, the ford site says two minutes and eighteen seconds to unveiling! So I can check the MPGs and MSRPs and finish walking away. Whew! (I know that will understandably have no impact on a lot of folks, and I hope they have all the big funs in their Broncos)

EDIT: that was anticlimactic. It finished counting down and the counter went away. Refreshing doesn't seem to change anything.

I just watched it.

  • It feels weird that I set myself a reminder to watch a commercial.
  • That two door is handsome
  • I am NOT a Ford guy, never owned one
  • I'm not $$ in a place that I could buy one
  • I have zero need for a 4wd off road vehicle

Not a bit of the above matters.  I want one.

Wow, 35s from the factory. Off-road accessories including those cool trail doors.

I'll take a lightly optioned, 2 door with the manual and 2.3T please.

What I linked to above was not the official channel.  This channel then crashed. The real revel on the real channel went fine.

Guys... you can get a base model Bronco... WITH A STICK... on steelies.

They were listening. And I think I am in love.

And you can get the Sasquatch off-road package on any trim level - even the bare bones base trim.

Make mine a 2 door, 2.3T, 7 speed in Cyber Yellow with the Sasquatch package.

I'm tempted to start a long term pool on how rare and valuable one of these becomes with those steelies. I bet they don't sell many. I can remember the last time I saw a JK wrangler on factory wheels.

it does look good. Still not sure where my theoretical money would get spent though. 4Runner, JK, Bronco. Probably not the Toyota because screw Toyota. And while I self identify as a Jeep guy, I'm way too distrusting of FCA. Curious to see how they hold value.

On all the previous pictures, I've been thinking, "ah, is mediocre"... and then... the base blacked out one. OK I like that!

For those that want to cut to the chase. I've never wanted an SUV, I want one of these.

But I won't get one lol

Those are gonna sell like crazy. Can't wait to see one on giant stupid chrome off-road wheels and tires, since that's what we're doing to jeeps now.

I like it a lot.  Since I burn in about 15 minutes in the sun I've never wanted a convertible before, but I really want one of these with the removable top and doors.

I was hoping for a higher tow rating than the Wrangler but as far as I can tell they matched it at 3500 lb for both the 2 door and 4 door - I think that's the max for a class 2 hitch isn't it?  Considering I've always been able to borrow or rent a full size pickup when I've needed to tow anything I don't think this will be a huge issue for me, but I was hoping for at least 5000 lb.
