I have been trying to sell a couple from my e36 M3 for a year now. No one wants them, not even for $10.

I need a bunch of little interior bits. If the interior is black.

and yet we hear of them being stolen all the time … if worth stealing, then should be worth something to someone … ask at some of the body shops (especially any that seem a bit on the shady side)… I know they won't buy them, but they might know of someone that needs one
I used to see them getting stolen when I worked at a BMW dealer in Los Angeles all the time.... E9x's would come in with missing steering wheel airbag and headlights (always HID)all the time-probably took the thieves a minute or 2 to take $3500 worth of parts
ebay?

Spine?? I bet it doesn't do your balls a lot of good either 1
I'm not sure about the legality of selling used air bags.
I DO know it is illegal at least in some states (like NY).
I also know they are ALWAYS considered HazMats for shipping purposes.
Unless you are familiar withe the HazMat regulations for shipping explosives, I don't recommend you ship them.
BTW... I am not sure there is a viable market for selling used airbags.
As I understand it, they are generally stolen as targeted thefts from pure identified vehicles, not as thefts of convenience. In other words, someone places an order for a particular make and model, and thieves cruise looking for that specific unit.
Just cause you've got one, doesn't mean anyone wants it.
PLUS, you've got to find a buyer for a commodity that is generally stolen. Do you have access to that market?
