Lenovo scratch and dent...

anyone ever buy a lenovo scratch and dent?

the price point on the scratch and dent y510p dual graphics card, 1080p screen laptops makes me want to get one... but I fear how bad the "scratches and dents" might be....

I haven't bought one from Lenovo but "scratch and dent" typically means "only cosmetic problems."

Mind you I've seen a monitor that was melted at the top and still worked fine and the screen wasn't obstructed, that was just a cosmetic problem

Meredith's dell is from their outlet. Lenovo does the same thing with their scratch and dent, I'm sure, which is wipe & rebox returned computers. It's unlikely that you're going to get anything with serious issues, or else it probably wouldn't have been worth fixing for them..

I bought this laptop from the lenovo outlet... got a few hundred off... looking they still have this model as refurb... I got it cheaper than they are selling that one for right now even...

but anyway... no problems... did install windows7 to replace 8 but that has nothing to do with the hardware lol

I can't seem to make a link work.. you would just have to go to the lenovo outlet and search for it.
