Wowsers.
Edit: So, that begs the question, who uses that, and for what? It's obviously a real thing, and at that price, its obviously a serious thing. There was a picture of it on a turnbuckle, so... The crescent wrench head is the part that bothers me. A set of plug in open end wrenches, ok. Crescent wrench...
Which just inspired another question. Is Crescent Wrench a common term, or a local one to me?
That's what I've always called them. It's a trademark for a specific brand of adjustable wrench. I do prefer the term "metric-all" though....
Crescent was the name of the tool company that invented that type of adjustable wrench.
Picked up a pizza and the kid behind the counter commented on the Miata. Told me he drives a Millenia, so I asked if he's heard of a Miller cycle engine before. He hadn't, so I encouraged him to look it up later.
Got tired of my basic rain water harvesting system- does not drain well, and the flow started undercutting the barrel's foundation. So I needed to come up with a better diverter set up.
Started with a basic commercial thing that works well on the other barrel. But that one just feeds one 55 gal barrel. This is trying to feed 3 of them. I've got some vision of how to fabricate one, just got to get all of the parts and make it. The goal to feed a 2" pipe instead of the 3/4" pipe....

That works out slightly better though, you can get a 2 wheeled frame this way, which will make it much easier to use
Double/2 wheelledbarrows are horrible and possibly the bane of my existence.
They also are bigger so people think you can put even more into them. The wheelbarrow has been upgraded to hold more, not my back. My back is rated at i-think-ill-get-a-laborer-to-do-that after years in construction.
Also.....wheelbarrow......not wheelsbarrow

Why do store bought eggs crack so much easier than farm fresh?
I'm told it has do do with the sterilization that occurs. This is the reason store bought eggs need to be refrigerated where farm fresh do not
The eggs that have made there way all the way to the store have undergone a long journey with washing, grading and packaging happening along the way with a few truck rides too. Even though they don't have any visible cracks I'm sure under a microscope you would see a difference and many micro cracks just waiting to get worse. There could also be a difference in the diet of the birds, the smaller farm fresh eggs you are buying may have more calcium in the birds feed leading to a stronger egg. I'm not an egg farmer but most of my work revolves around them.

I was thinking maybe plumbing gland or flange nuts, maybe AN fittings, stuff like that. Thing is I can't come up with a single reason why anyone would get that tool instead of a crows foot wrench set and a regular torque wrench.

Last night I had a dream that I was writing a new song for the Allman Brothers.
It was not good at all. In fact, it’s probably best that both Duane and Gregg are dead at this point.

There’s no effing way that Baked Potatoes vs. Poutine is a first round matchup.
What kind of morons were on the Selection Committee?
This is clearly a flawed bracket.

Cut the body off and put a Panhard on top.
If you decide one of yours needs gone I could use a front suspension.

Cool.
All mine are drivable so I really don't have "parts", but, I recently got parts from this guy.
https://akroncanton.craigslist.org/pts/d/2007-black-prius-parts/7077429816.html
Located near Akron he has a lot more than the ad implies.
We've had a feral cat hanging around the house on and off the last several months. Recently he's been following our cat in through the cat flaps from the outside.
Garage reeked of tomcat pee last evening, so had neighbor drop off a live trap (we have one too, but it's loaned out to someone else, seems to be the nature of the things).
This morning there's a orange Tom in the trap and he's going off to my wife's clinic to get neutered. She also needs a barn cat over there, so hopefully this works out.
And after some cleaning, the garage smells better this morning.
My favorite part of that crescentorque wrench is of course the non-native-English description:
Description
Fixed grip adoption with a power sensor. The evolution-shaped more easy high-level torque management became possible by which in spite of working posture and the level of proficiency, a digital torque tool "DEJIRACHE".
Fixed grip with a power sensor
A loaded sensor senses and analyzes the operational load it takes for a grip correctly. More highly precise torque measurement became possible in spite of working posture and the level of proficiency.
Use DEJIRACHE on your DAJIBAN!

stupid co-worker has been waiting for PSA to restock so he can buy the AK9. Which led me down rabbit holes to see the new ATI Galeo, and then that they made a pistol version, which led to pricing and then why add another magazine to the safe when I could just build a pistol AR.....
People suck.

I've tried to avoid that rabbit hole. For the most part, I have the MAK-90 AK I've had since the early 90's and I haven't bought anything else. That said, Forgotten Weapons and InRange have been bad influences so I'll probably have a 9mm from some brand TBD and a WWSD2020 carbine from Brownells by the end of the year. Part of the reason is I don't have a safe place to store these and I need to do some remodeling to make room.
To be honest, I have a hard time understanding the point of a pistol AR, but others would say the same thing about the collection of bikes and cars I have, so whatever floats your boat.

Broken Prius are out there. As I said, this guy has a lot more than he really needs. See this thread for some pics of just a portion of what he has.

I have heard this conventional wisdom / old wives' tale repeated before, but I know of no scientific reason it is true.

Just one. We still don't know what those things are.
In reply to Ian F :
Not a PCC. The ONLY PCC I have an interest in is a Auto Ordinance M1 SBR. I was looking at a 10.5" pistol in 5.56 with fixed sights. Mag interchangability with the 16" carbine. one caliber to buy ammo for (and one for the pistols). spare parts etc. I don't see the point of a 7.5" 5.56 though. Those just seem like flame throwers that happen to shoot projectiles.

Report back is older skinny boy, estimated around 4 yrs old, FELV/FIV negative, lots of roundworms. Now neutered. Will probably head for the hills as soon as he's released into the barn.
