Yes
So now I'm sitting here, wondering whether it is better that it's rough, which probably allows some fluid past, but is more likely to grab a corner, or smooth and round, which would block flow completely, but might slide easier...
Also, hoping that the quantity of tomatoes and orange juice I consume means the acid keeps the stones from forming. Hoping. Lots.

Smoother is better.
I've shot out little smoother stones that passed in <20 minutes and went on about my day.
I've passed little evil, jagged, bastards, that took days and had me dry heaving from pain.
After passing this big boy, I very much want to get the lithotripsy done on my right side soon!

Migod...that’s horrifying. I hope they can get you in for the next treatment quickly. Good luck!
Had round 2 of lithotripsy on my left kidney this morning, I was surprised the doc wanted to zap it again, instead of working on the right. Ultrasound after the first round showed some large stones in lefty still.
Having a tougher time recovering from the anesthesia this go round, been in a fog and had a headache since they woke me up. Been home since 12:30 this afternoon.
Must of had the F'n new guy do the intubation, damn my throat hurts, it's worse than my kidney.
They gave me some Tramadol, took one, didn't do a damn thing for the headache. I guess having a sore throat and throbbing noggin is keeping my attention off of my kidney.
I got results back on that Rock of Gibraltar I passed, in the photo above, 2x3 mm, 13 mg, and 95% calcium oxalate. Which annoys the hell out of me because I made some huge diet changes to avoid oxalates 5 years ago.
I'm cranky... well crankier than usual.

Good luck with Tramadol-- it makes me dozey/loopy and then about 3 hours later I'm wide awake for the rest of the night.
Higher doses make me itchy.
Getting tired yet of always having to pee through a strainer? I had to do that for about 6 weeks-- gets old fast.
In reply to Karacticus :
Only took the one Tramadol, between it and the anesthesia, I'm worried about blocking up my other plumbing.
Switched to extra strength Tylenol.
I have a jug, that I pour into the strainer, way less splash back.
Doc must not have zapped me as much this time, it's not as uncomfortable this go around.

Yeah, as far as the opioid induced constipation, after a knee and shoulder replacement I can confirm that the struggle is real!
My sympathy for those who are dealing with this. It's well known to be one of the most painful afflictions.
We have to treat cats and dogs for stones sometimes. Fortunately, they rarely form them in their kidneys, but bladder stones are much more common.
I removed one the size of a hen's egg last week.
