I don't watch a lot of live music. Happened to catch a husband/wife team (The Heatons out of Boston) who play Irish music at a very cozy performance at church. It was very enjoyable.

Consider this an open thread for performers who don't get national/regional attention.

Anyone else here know of Howard Luedtke in Wisconsin?

Consider me a fan of live music. Two months ago I spent six days in New York and caught live music every single night--in fact, that was the main reason I made the trip. Latest show was Anthrax last Friday, and I have a bunch on deck.

Can I use this thread to plug my own band again? Maybe you're into an old-school country/rockabilly/honky tonk thing? Then I suggest these links for your listening pleasure...

We just shot a video (in a Mexican western wear shop!) for a local music festival that's going to be released in about a month or so. It was a one-and-done deal at 10:30 in the morning, so I honestly have no idea how it came out, but I know the song - which I didn't write - is really stupendous. When it's out, I'll shoot you guys a link. Think early Ray Price and you're on the right track.

If you're ever in Milwaukee, in June-July, check out Summerfest. If you can't find music that appeals to you, you're goofy. A few years ago, wife and I sat down for a rest, near a small stage - folded out of a semi trailer - and heard the Travis Larson Band.
