For the past couple of years, one of the ways we keep busy and not spending money during the winter is by doing puzzles. I tried to find a couple of cool ones when I visited the art museums in NYC, but holy $$$$! Anybody have any good suggestions for a puzzle? One of my faves was an Edward Gorey "Dracula in Dr. Seward's Library", just because everything kinda looks the same and it really gets the eyes moving around!
I had the most fun doing Relativity by M.C. Escher. I don't recall the price but I ended up framing it afterwards.
Younger step daughter is a puzzle fanatic. Barnes&Noble, art supply stores, and Amazon are all good choices for interesting puzzles.
Might even see if there is a group online who exchanges used puzzles once they are done making them.

Same here! Though that was when I was a kid & my parents owned a frame shop, so that part isn’t too surprising.
Are we talking about jigsaw puzzles?
There's a "puzzle library" in our church where people leave and borrow puzzles as they see fit. Last I looked, there must have been 50 puzzles there. We've put a few of them together.
Best puzzle I ever found in a store was of an old mill on a river in the little town I grew up in. Naturally, I bought it.

Oh, that one looks fun!
Actually, now that I have my library card, I'd bet there are a few down the street at the local branch!
