Making a really weak powerpoint doc to project things for an upcoming musical.
I don't have powerpoint. I have open office presentation, which won't accept any of the common video formats; AVI, MOV, MP4.
So I'm trying Google Slides. I have these 10-20 second video clips that I need to loop and I can't figure it out.
Have tried googling this? Ive had good luck doing that for slides. I use Google Drive almost exclusively but have never tried looping. Maybe it's part of YouTube settings?
I used clipconverter to rip the videos. I tried looping the video in youtube, but it doesn't change the URL which is how clipconverter sources the file. So regardless of looping it in youtube, it just rips the single 21-second video.
I'll try googling. If you go to help in Slides, it doesn't say anything about looping the video in the slide.
Googling only turns up how to loop the slides of the presentation, but doesn't seem to show anything for looping videos within an individual slide
But google did turn up this:
Welcome to the Google Docs Help Forum!
Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to have Youtube video play on a loop on Google Slides. There is no functions to automatically play Youtube videos on Slides at this moment. I encourage you to add your voice and submit your request for this capability directly to the Docs Team. You can do this by:
Click on Settings (the Cog Wheel) in the google forums.
Click on Help
Click on Send Feedback
Though I cannot guarantee that this feature will be implemented right away, I can tell you that our developers will take a look at this request.
Please let me know if you have any other questions about Google Docs. We are here to help :)
why not convert the video to a GIF and embed?
