So for the last week we've been getting 3 calls a day from a computerized voice telling us that our malware has sent them a message and that we need to call them immediately. We've been on hte nocall list forever. So I called to get us off the list. First guy told me "No. We won't do that" second call was "we do't have a call list". So, since I was tired of it I called about 2 dozen times and yelled at every scammer until my cellphone got blocked. lol.

So, if you're having a E36 M3ty day or just need to vent, these people are available for a good time. I highly recommend you call them: 866-635-2213. They refuse to give you any company name.

All you did was confirm that your phone number is valid. Yell at strangers in the street, it's much less likely to get you placed on a list.

That would be a great new trend to start. Organized groups prank calling scammer numbers. Flood their phone with junk calls and turn the tables.

I am picturing a robodialer calling from a VOIP through a VPN, that plays the audio from Webdriver Torso videos.

I'm having a good time picturing this.

Just pretend they are a 1-900 line. They'll get uncomfortable quickly and hangup.

I used a different phone to call in. the number they've been calling is our home number. I did file a complaint with the FCC and our state's attorney due to selling crap and do not call list.

But I still would like hundreds of calls a day to them to annoy the E36 M3 out of them.

I like to gather up half a dozen or so of the worst offender phone numbers and post up a batch of Craigslist adds with the numbers in plain text. Usually a couple of for sale adds, sometimes something in casual encounters, depends on when they called. It's not much, but it makes me happy.

Did you, er, play that link?

That was Google rick-rolling the people who were wondering what this creepy Webdriver Torso channel was. Neatest theory was that it was a numbers station with secret messages. The reality was far more mundane.

Isn't Craigslist already full of scammers posting their phone numbers attached to fake ads?

Yes, but it makes me happy to think about them calling each other.
