Nice!
Looks just like the one I saw them giving away on some old game show on the Game Show Network the other day.

I believe in the 80s, some companies still had optional passenger sided mirrors.

Well into the 80s it was a common option. I had a 98 Mitsubishi Mirage with some options that didn't have one.

I know that they were still an option on base model Hondas into the early 90's.
Nice whats the spec? 22re 5 speed? Love my little truck but mine is getting ugly, just put a smittybilt front bumper on so if push comes to shove I'll be shoving.

yup it was an optional add on... IMHO wed prob have fewer accidents without it as people might actually look over their shoulder on occasion lol.
to the OP... nice looking $300 truck... a GF in HS had one with the manual trans and I loved driving that thing... so simple... if I could find one for that price I might jump on it... thankfully the in-laws have an '98 s10 kicking around for when I have the need for a wagon to tote things around... but i'd rather the toy
I'm gonna update this in the morning with current pictures and try to stick to my plan when I finally get it set in stone.
I used to deliver groceries in one almost identical to that. The owners of the grocery store won it in a raffle from Coke iirc.
This is the day I got him. He had sat for 3 years. There was a small forest growing in the bed.
I cleaned, polished, took the old peeling graphics off, and painted the wheels black.
I lowered it 4" all around and pulled out the broken bench seat.
That brings us to today and the future. I'm ordering a set of rota rkr's 15x8 in gold on Monday. Then ordering some new shocks.
The outside is going to get painted macadamia metallic and a 60s camaro rear bumper.
Now comes the part I'm flip flopping on. The engine. I would like to have about 180-200 hp. So I'm thinking I'm going to have to do a motor swap and I have no idea what to do. So in the mean time I'm thinking I'll just get a cam, a new carb, and do an exhaust.
Any suggestions? I'll get a picture up tomorrow of it lowered.
