The wife is a Notary for the state of South Carolina. She officiates at 20-30 weddings a year and charges anywhere from $100-$300 a pop. She also does a lot of mobile notary work. Yesterday she notarized an airplane sale for a guy out of South America. 20 minuets of work, $200. She makes pretty good money at and it fits her schedule.

Well since you bring it up, this would be the only pic I have of me with a famous person. Former offensive lineman for the Eagles, now Congressman Jon Runyan. This was at a Buffet tailgate and he was very wasted....I probably should send the honorable Congressman the photo ;)

And those who know me know Im not a small person....that man is HUGE.

And, a little caricature a friend drew of me while I was taking a transmissions class a few years ago (and the source of my avatar):

Though not represented in this picture, typically found on jib trim and kite trim. The boat here is the regular steed, a Schock 35. Not mine but the boat I have been regular crew for 6 years and racing with a core group of guys that I have raced with for 15 years. We race this Schock 35 with a crew of 9. I too can be found on Weds nights aboard a Tartan10 crew or Wavelength 24 crew.
This picture is a Machinaw Race start and the Schock 35 is the small red boat in the middle and leading!

And at this, the unemployed guy perks up. And I'll bet that a lot of the "new" atheists would like an old one to perform their ceremonies, too!

In reply to friedgreencorrado:

She will do them any way the couple wants. Atheist, religious, whatever. The mobile notary end of it has gotten pretty busy. She's been averaging 3-5 a week. If you want I can shoot you a PM with her email address. She can pass on the what, where, when, and so on.

Edit: Never mind. She has already sent you a PM.
