As someone who can sort of read Cyrillic, that... is probably good payback for the McDonald's mayo meme.
("Sort of" = stick me in the Ukrainian market and I can usually piece together what the labels say, enough to say "Ah, this is tarhun, I like tarhun, I will buy this today")
Yes, tarhun looks like Mountain Dew that was barrel-aged in Chernobyl reactor #4. But it tastes a lot better.

"Oh. It's just YOU" and walk away after. But... he always ran to the door to greet me when I got home.
He was just checking to make sure his can opener came back.

That's the thing - feeding him and cleaning his litterbox was someone else's job.
That someone else was also the only person he'd allow to pet him or pick him up. He'd come to me for pets ONLY if she was in the room. Then he'd be really affectionate. I think events that happened before we adopted him led to him having pretty severe trust issues - he liked people, but he didn't trust them, except for one person, and as long as she was in the room he could feel comfortable with other people.
All the same, the day his little body finally gave out, he laid down in front of my bedroom door because he wanted to say goodbye in person.

Don't you drink Mallort? I mean... I'm probably not gonna follow your advice on drinks.

I'll be the first to admit that Malört tastes like the inside of a pencil sharpener, but tarhun is kind of like a sweet, citrusy herbal tea.
Also, "radioactive Mountain Dew" is a pretty low bar to clear.
