"Did you call me a loser?"
"I didn't call you a loser, I asked you a question. Would you like me to repeat it? 'Are you such a loser that you don't know when you've won?'"
My father talked about a guy he worked with who told a supervisor that he "was acting like an shiny happy person." The plant manager called him up to the office and said "You called so-and-so an shiny happy person. You can't do that." He responded with "I didn't call him an shiny happy person. I said he was acting like an shiny happy person." The manager instantly deflated and said "Well, I can't write you up for that."

Words have meaning!
That is exactly the way I tend to word it. You're acting like an shiny happy person. Whether or not you want to aspire to that image is your own business, but that is the uniform you are wearing (to paraphrase a Chris Rock skit)
In reply to Pete. (l33t FS) :
Isn't that Dave Chapel. I am not a slut... well you are wearing a sluts uniform.

You are probably right. Somehow I remembered hearing it in the same set as the Skit He No Longer Uses.

I believe the correct translation for the speed limit signs is "hidden speed camera".

I remember Harry Harrison's "Bill, the Galactic Hero," where our protagonist gets his start in the space navy in a star ship's fuse changing room.

Funny, but pushing it. That 'nasty man' is totally obvious to the world after all the similar memes that have been going around blaming one person, even though the cost of oil is now falling and the the whole world is suffering gas spikes.
