Sorry, had to take family rabbit to vet. We think it ate a dreidl.
Sorry, dog caught a squirrel and brought it in the house. Now the squirrel is up the Christmas tree and we have chaos.
Bad news, Basil Stag Rabbit didn't make it. As you can imagine, we're all terribly upset. He was a Mensch.
Sorry, can't talk - Shivas
Sorry, we're trying to potty train the squirrel.
This would make a good storyline for a Hallmark movie.
So I told a few people at work that, hey, I'm not suicidal...but if I was, I'd wait until 2 or 3 days before a major holiday to do the deed at work. That way you get an extra long weekend while the cops do their investigation.
The reactions were exactly what I expected.

I bet they didn't even consider how much you were thinking of them.
Im not enjoying working on cars anymore. Haven't for a while. Just doing it because I have to, and don't know what else to do.
I have the financial wherewithal to get a maverick and fix my E36 M3box roulette problems, but can't bring myself to spend the money as my family might need it more.
So i keep fighting after work and on the weekends to fix garbage to save a few bucks.
Did some rallycrossing today with friends. And I was doing pretty well until I developed an appetite for cones toward the end of the day.
Apparently I'm not as conservative when I'm driving someone else's 24 year old Corolla beater.

Yesterday I was buying new munchie candy. I miscalculated calories and decided that snack size KitKats would work. After getting home I discovered the error and decided that I could have four of them and be fine. I ate the entire bag.

I am doing everything I can to push things off at work far enough in the future that I hopefully will have a different job before they come due. I'm generating a giant E36 M3-ball that is going to be a real pain in the butt for someone and I hope it isn't me.

This is the way.
I'm doing the same. I've become so apathetic to everything that it's actually terrifying me a little.
I am tired and can no longer perform due to this level of burnout, and rather than having any support from family/friends, they add to my burdens.
It's a chore to even get in the garage and work on the cars, something I normally enjoy and treat as my escape.
