I didn't have the balls to say it. Two stalled projects, a kid, and now a band. I feel ya'.
The kid is a lot of it, another part of it is i'm tired of chasing gremlins and stupid E36 M3 on modified DDs (my ms3 in particular, it's set up to jam, and it chews tires and damn near every other consumable as a result) and the scene. The SCENE! I am SO tired of all the back talking and other bullE36 M3, I barely talk to anyone in person I've met as a result of my car shenanigans. I barely talk to anyone in person period, but it seems to have affected my car hobby the most.
We met at the Mitty a couple years ago, right?
Nosir- I've never actually met a single GRM'er in person- other than JohnnyT- and I made him come here from MNMazda.
Oh wow. Weird. In my head, you're a big long-haired dude with a beard.

Off your "plate" eh...?
so THAT's what the kids are calling their hootus nowdays!
On the list of things I don't want anywhere near my babymaker, "Dog" and "Hot Sauce" are pretty goddamned close to the top.

Warning: confession ahead not entirely in-keeping with lighthearted tone of rest of thread.
I've been a serial procrastinator all throughout my time at University, and I think it'll start to affect my post-grad academic performance if I don't curtail the habit soon. Right now it's 4AM and I've been up all night finishing a paper due at 9AM, motivated largely by the stimulants in my system.
"Procrastination is the key to flexibility"
Good luck Luke!

What's funny, is I actually am in real life. Giant beard, giant long curly blonde hair, and I'm about 6' 240 or so. So yeah, you're spot on.
I have a subscription to Super Street.

But "dog" and "ranch dressing" are strangely at teh bottom.

I love being able to give correct but useless answers to poorly worded questions. Yesterday a kid stopped to talk to his friends on his way to the bus that was sitting in the stop and the bus drove off. He asked me two questions
.
1) "Yo douchebag, why not hold the bus?" It's far too heavy
2) "How long is the next one?" 60 feet just like that one
My wife hopes when I finally get the asskicking I deserve my life insurance covers it. She'll be able to buy a much better husband.

I have 6years left of Hot Rod (the magazine is just a synopsis of their Videos) I miss my Car Craft mags. I used to get Diesel Power.
Now I mostly just drool on Dennis Carpenter 1967-1979 F100 parts catalogs.

I enjoy Mumford and Sons
When surrounded by nothing but white peaple I get nervous.
When I visit my Step-Dad, I drive the long way everywhere in case I see someone I went to high school with. This started with my 2nd 3 series and has gotten worse with my 911s
I get really nervous when surrounded by middle school and high school aged kids. Having a 17 year old daughter makes this difficult. Dunno why, I guess it's the fact they just kinda surround you and you can't keep eyes on all of them at the same time. Sneaky little bastards are gonna try something, I know it!! 1 or 2 I'm fine with. Hell even up to 5, but a big group of her friends, drives me nuts.
Try to relax, they can smell fear.

I once mentioned to a friend that our lives would be so much easier if we didn't give a rat's ass about cars.

In reply to Conquest351:
If they turn on you remember you can grab one of the smaller kids by the ankles and swing them like a club to fend off the others.
In reply to Conquest351:
... I wouldn't have said you were old enough to have a 17 year old daughter.
Confession: just spent half an hour catching up with this thread. At work.
I love the rain, especially with a little thunder in the mix.

I'm 34, she's my step-daughter. I love her like my own though. My wife's 34 also. Early start...

I confess that I'm terrible about this.
I have named coworkers: Miss Communication, Miss Direction, Miss Representation, Captain Retardo, Squeaky, and Ape Face. I wonder what they call me.
I can eat an entire bag of Oreos at one sitting.
I can personally vouch for the tastiness of Michelob Lite as a substitute for Milk with Oreos.

I sorta liked them, now I detest them. Too much like whiny folk singers. And yeah that makes me uncool. But I do sorta like Go Radio.

I get nervous just being surrounded.

I try to avoid 98% of my high school classmates. I don't want to hang around with old people.
I've never owned a stick shift, I can't really drive one either. I've tried my friends a few times in sparking lots and I get the idea but I would be horrible on a street.
I also don't like big crowds of ppl, I think this may be from my anxiety problems. I was on anti anxiety medicine but stopped taking it because it made me too tired to get through work.
