True Story: I recall the first time I was in a McDonalds in New Jersey. It was staffed entirely by white people. I thought I'd stepped into the twilight zone. I'm from Mississippi, which means if you're white you're in the minority in some counties.

Can't be any weirder than the time I went to Taco Bell in WSP (which any Minnesotan will recognize as little Mexico) and had a white kid hand me my volcano burrito. Or the woman I know in TN, also white, head chef at some mexican joint down there. Like, classy mexican.

Same here, but i've never taken anti anxiety medicine for it. Never told a doctor about it.

I refuse to make any decision without massive research on how to do it the best/cheapest way.

For instance, I need to buy new shoes and work boots. I researched my foot type and read reviews about how certain shoes work for that foot type. Then I got on the internet and found the price comparisons and availability of those shoes. I have now found those shoes available at DSW for $39 in my size. In the process, I learned about how certain insole compositions tend to favor different pronation profiles of feet, and how different heel inclinations can improve circulation in the legs.

I remember choosing my first cam profile for a BBC build. I could have just taken their word for it, but instead it lead me down a path of researching valve spring harmonics as a function of ramp rate. I also ended up researching flame front speeds as a function of peak cylinder pressure and how it relates to cam timing, ignition timing, and combustion chamber shapes.

I don't do anything half-assed. I dig deep.

i have "organic" neighbors. i told them that spreading whole wheat flour on their lawn would take care of their dandelions. two days after they followed my instructions, i sprayed all their dandelions with roundup.

Awesome. Just awesome. You deserve some free beer.

Not to the point of avoiding going into cities at all costs. Then again, maybe it is... I'm not talking a sub 100k population city, I avoid anything Boston and bigger. I'm moving somewhat near NYC this summer, and I'm already trying to come up with excuses to never go near that city. I've never even had a bad experience there, or in Boston for that matter.

Oh man! I have someone that would be a perfect Captain Retardo!

Did it rain around this point? A lawn covered in a glue-like goop would have been amusing.

The throttle cable on our lawn mower is held on with duct tape. However, it is black duct tape (you have to color coordinate).

I have never owned a car and probably won't for another 7 years (not joking) . On the flip side, nothing handles better than a rental (which is a confession thread in and of itself).

At food 'joints with walk up drink fountains I ask for a (free) cup for water and proceed to fill it with soda.

I have never actually driven a 3 pedal in real life, only on playstation.

I sometimes go through the Harbor Freight line twice to use two 20% off coupons.

Over the past three months, I have created a free 30 day trial of amazon prime under 3 different e-mails, I also used to do this with GRM and Car and Driver and TopGear and AutoCar.

I am almost positive I am suffering from serious ADD which has been getting much much worse over the past year or so. I fit the exact descriptions found online (I know, i know), I tried changing my diet and eating habits, sleep has little effect. It is affecting my work and personal life. Unfortunately I am a bit ashamed to go to the doctor about this.
