It's astonishing to me that insulin costs anything

Because, in the immortal words of my old man, "It's never nothing," my main sewer line is rootbound and backed up.
We replaced it with PVC about 15-20 years ago, which means we should have had 15-20 more years before we had to worry about it.
You all can blame the NTSB for your E36 M3ty automatic headlights. They are way behind the times on this subject. In Europe they have these wonderful adaptive headlights. I was able to enable them on my new F-150. It's one of the features I like most about this truck.

Is that what the L10 thing comes from?
Yeah, Founder 3 got an MBA a couple years ago and he and the owner spend lots of time meeting and returning with business speak stuff. Our sales have been steadily decreasing.
I don't have an MBA, but I'm here five days a week and talk with everyone who actually does work. I can see big glaring problems, but they don't want my insight.
In reply to CAinCA :
We've got a 2023 F-150 with the LED headlamp$-- how did you enable? Something with FORSCAN?

I still love the work I do. I have lots of flexibility and control over my time. I get paid fairly well for how much work the job requires. (I could easily earn more elsewhere, but I'd rather have the free time this job affords.)
If the owner doesn't want this place to be financially successful, that's on him. It's his money, not mine.
I don't think he actually cares about the money though. I think he likes living the fantasy of owning his own craft brewery that he can use as a clubhouse. Which is fine. Lots of people like to play racecar driver where they have dropped as much into an RV, trailer, and prepped car as what it cost to run this business.
Just... be honest with what you want out of the business and don't complain that it's not profitable. Everyone will be happier.

I mean, for candy, OK, you do you. No problem.
But if you have a sore throat that is making you hack constantly, maybe give the drop a little time to work?
Breaking them up increases the surface area and they work better.

Yes, enable Glare Free Lighting in ForScan. I think you have to have the better LED self leveling/steering headlights though. My truck has the 402a package. I leave them in high beam mode all of the time. It dims the light(s) that are pointing towards an oncoming car. The hgih beams and corner lights don't just switch on. They slowly ramp up but will turn off quickly if a car comes around a corner. I don't think I've ever been flashed since I turned them on. Its like pure berkeleying magic.
Yesterday we decided on soup and sandwiches for supper. I went out and got the supplies. For my sandwich, my original intent was to make some seafood salad and have it with clam chowder.
I spied some ready made seafood salad at the store, and, already being on the verge of getting hangry, decided to pick that up instead of making my own.
It was loaded with sugar, and completely gross. I'm going to feed it to the cat or something. I sure can't eat it.
I alone order high 8 figures worth of plastic parts and consumables a year. I tell my vendors 8-10 months in advance what need to be made and when we expect delivery. Why when you are three months late on a mission critical order would you save 2K and ground ship something to a client that spends over 100 million dollars with you. Just call my old carcass and ask me to approve the increase in cost.

WTF is going on with USPS, UPS and FedEx? I've had multiple shipments go awry both incoming and outgoing with all three in the last few weeks..

My daughter bragged the other day that she can eat an entire box of orange flavored Tic Tacs at one time.
Yes, dumping the entire box into her mouth and chomping them all down. Now that my sugar levels are out of whack I miss these challenges.
In reply to Datsun240ZGuy :
I can eat 50 eggs.
Going ice skating with my daughter tonight and she is bringing a friend who doesn't have skates so we need to get there early. Ughhhh lol. I feel so inconvenienced, this might be one of the firstest world problems ever.

$601.50 for insulin. With insurance. That costs me $750/month.
The berkeley?
According"to my very helpful pharmacist, the "insurance" company is not accepting the co-pay card to reduce the cost from $600 to a reasonable $10-$40.
Somebody's ear is getting lit up tomorrow morning.
Resolution. Its bullE36 M3, but 66% cheaper bullE36 M3. They want me to get 90 day supply through Walgreens. $200 is better than $600, but I was paying $25 a month.

Brodozer tried to brodoze his way into my lane this morning. My choices were to get sideswiped or eat curb.
Grr.
That's both left tires. So far no bubbles, but the alignment feels a little different.

I berkeleying love orange Tic Tacs. They are my favorite flavor. Occasionally, I'll buy some as I'm standing in line at the cash register. But only the large container.
I will also eat the whole box in one sitting. I seem to do this infrequently enough that I forget the extreme gastrointestinal distress that consuming an entire large box brings.
I'm not the sharpest crayon in the shed.
When I read the tic tac thing yesterday it reminded of when I was a young teen and my best friend at the time. He did this thing, he said could eat a Big Mac in one bite, but what he would do was actually fit an entire Big Mac in his mouth then strategically devour it without choking. Everybody was amazed at this feat and people would routinely buy him Big Macs to see him do it. Even as a youngster I realized he was one of three to a single mom who did an admirable job of raising three kids on a budget, and he only did it because he really wanted a Big Mac but had no money.
And that's why I can't remember important stuff, because there's too much nonsense up there.

In high school my buddy and I hit Wendy's for lunch and he was one of those skinny, wirey dudes and he proceeds to eat a triple burger, then a double, then a single burger.
Later he tells his dad and he's like; son, you ate 1-1/2 pounds of meat - he couldn't believe it. Of course, that was precooked weight.....

That is ridiculous that it went up that much and that you had to work to get it back down to a slightly less unreasonable price. My wife has been working with JDRF to push to get the insulin affordability act extended beyond Medicare to private insurance. Hoping they finally make this happen.
