Since I need to check the valve clearances on the Escape's heads I picked up a set of feeler gauges from Advance. Checking the clearances on the last set of valves, the nut on the feeler gauges came off and fell down into the head someplace... hopefully it didn't fall down into one of the spark plug holes because trying to fish it out will be a complete pain in the ass (and I'm NOT pulling the head back off and having to spend another $50 on a new set of head bolts). Would it have been that difficult for them to have put the smallest drop of thread lock on the nut???

The Motor Trend channel on TV seems to have an awful lot of commercials for generic Viagra and Cialis. The commercials all feature virile looking young men and voluptuous women, which is not really the target audience for boner pills.
