The coil bracket I designed in my head worked perfectly.
Same with the sub enclosure.
tune up in the wagon went easily, i was suprised because i had no clue how long the plugs had been in it!
Jugs of "premium" conventional Valvoline were on sale at Walmart for $14 each ($10.70 USD). I picked up 5 quarts of 5w30 and a filter, and can now change my oil for less than $21, excluding environmental fees and the cost of a new drain pan and funnel). The local quick-change shops charge $40 with a coupon.
Put the Answer back together last night. New ARP studs all around, yay!
Tiger Mom finished all of her online class exams last night, all A's and B's yay!
Was successful with the test drive after replacing the front wheel bearing on my Daily Driver Saturn. Hurray! I think I'm going to start referring to it as the "Ratty Satty"
Got a refund email from GarageStar, scared the skid plates were sold out, I opened to find a $38 shipping refund. Any refund is great, but almost 25% of the total? That's just awesome
Kids are with my father in law tonight and me and the wife had no plans. She asked if we could just take the car for a cruise. Sometimes she amazes me.
As an even better sidenote the car will do donuts on pavement. Thats a hard working 88hp.
My headache isn't getting worse. It isn't getting better, but more importantly, it isn't getting worse.
My old van made it from NY to WI on Sunday and only needed a few quarts of oil to do it.
Also a win, my pants still fit after eating my weight in beef jerky during the trip.
$20 for some drill bits that work so much better than the hand me downs from my dad. Turned a hairy, long process into a short and pleasant affair. Thanks Harbor Freight.
I have an old (circa 2004) HP LaserJet 1200. It does everything I need. I just ran a page count, and I've printed 26,272 pages. On the original toner cartridge. The spare cartridge I got when I acquired it is still in the box.
Feels like a win to me!
Yesterday was firing up the chainsaw to cut up a tree, race car prep and a Jr. High track meet.
Today is grocery shopping, hard boiling eggs and cleaning the bathroom.
This weekend is fishing on friday and rallycross with Deucekid#2 on Saturday and an Easter egg hunt in the yard Sunday morning.
I love this stay at home dad thing.
Today at work my 68 year old dad fell backwards over a toolbox faster than I could stop him. The win part is he's totally fine. Grabbed a counter and a dryer on either side, landed mostly on his back gently-ish, didn't hit his head. Minor Win. Major win would be not falling.
I just paid the rest of the entry fee for the Chump race at Watkins Glen. We cant wait to be a rolling chicane to the BMWs

Called in for trailer hitch recall, found there was a auto t-case/ trans reflash too. Drives like a whole nuther truck now, not that I complained before.
Sat in a '16 Regal GS, really dig it but needs more 'premium plastic' inside, laid out well n nice leather, roomier than the E92 but sedan vs coupe. Cascada ain't a bad lookin' car at all, not my bag tho. Z-28 at $76K. Z06 at $97K. Finally saw a Canyon SLT, that could sway me as well.
Like a kid in a candy store I was.
