A chain grocery store started selling micro and locally crafted brews. Thing is, you can buy them one 12 oz er at a time.
Mrs. 914 brought home a sampling (blue berry stuff is hers) so if you don't care for one you don't have to pour five beers down the sink.
yummy! several party stores around me have started doing the build-a-6-pack thing for craft beers too. best idea ever!
Beer you don't like is either given as a gift, or chugged as to not waste the alcohol.
Otter Creek Copper Ale is one of my personal favorites. They make a Black IPA that's fan-freaking-tastic too
Just curious, 914, which one?
I want to know so I can go there when I go visit the family.
I'd recommend the Ellicotville Nut Brown you have there along with their EVL Amber. Also check out my favorite NY brewery, Southern Tier. They tend to pack a ton of hops in each batch, so watch out if that's not your thing.
Needs moar Troegs (Note my avatar haha)
Lets see what she brings home this week......

Good grief man! What kind of craziness are you talking? Pour it down the sink???
You drink five or six of something you like, then finish the job with the stuff you're trying to get rid of.

If they're stocking Flying Dog stuff, see if you can get their Raging Bitch. It's a Belgian style IPA (Belgian yeast + American hops = awesome) and one of my favorites.

^This, after a round or 7 of my preferred beverage of choice I start to get the crap out of the liquor cabinet that wifey "had to have" and has sat there rotting ever since.
Nope. Miller beer laced with hot peppers?
Sink time! Peeing fire is peeing fire; I don't need a buzz that bad.
I'm still waiting for the locals to release the seasonal Coffee Stout. Yuuum.
