The Cardio Version did not take, she gets another today.
Dad had a persistent arrhythmia that meds and cardioversions couldn't fix. Eventually they did an ablation. Piece of cake procedure - much easier on the patient than cardioversion - and he's since felt better than he had in ages. Hope Mrs. Aussiemg is on the mend soon.

This has been mentioned, but not of late, we see it it looming on the horizon

My cousin had the ablation done and it worked perfectly. Had it done at Emory Hospital here in Atlanta.

Crap, sorry to hear this. We'll keep y'all in our prayers.
Keep us posted.

So sorry brother. Hugs to you and the missus.
I hadn't checked in on this thread for a while - yikes - sorry to hear about how things have been going with Mrs. Aussie. It's been a difficult road that I truly hope is going to improve soon. I think we've talked all of about a minute at the 2010 challenge, but it feels like I know you better than that. I'm in healthcare. Call on me if you need anything and don't forget to take care of yourself during this stuff.
Not to make jokes about a truly sucky situation, but the word "ablation" sounds like something one of my project cars would do.. "Got the x1/9 started, but then there was an explosiablation."
As always, you two are in my thoughts and prayers. Ya' haz my number if you need to vent, or whatever.
A lot of you guys asked after Gina during the challenge and we really appreciate the concern our GRM friends have over this ongoing issue she has struggled with since June.
Today is the day Gina has the ablation, she has had a series of tests, the procedure is set for sometime very soon.
I will post an update when I know something.
Fingers crossed and prayers accepted.
