Spotify Premium here. I've had it for 10+ years. I really like that you can create playlists and download them to your phone/tablet if you'll be outside of cell/WiFi service so you can still listen to the music you want.
This. The download playlists feature is awesome.
It also streams at a higher rate then Pandora IIRC (at least that was the case when I got it).
Also I personally find it easier to find more variety of new music then Pandora (via different playlists Spotify or other users have made, at the bottom of artists pages it has artist like that one and when creating a playlist it will show songs that may match with playlists.
I use Spotify premium and as a listener it's great.
My old band ended up on there and I didn't sign us up for it so it's a bit odd, but I'm enjoying the whole .00024 cents I'm getting for every stream so.....wooo

That sounds like a job for Reddit.

To get to the bottom of why we are on there?
I put this in the rant thread too.
Give LiveXLive a shot, I give them $4 a month to get unlimited skips and no ads. LiveXLive's algorithm for finding music I like works a lot better than Pandora's ever did for me. Big plus is when you ban an artist or song, it you know, actually bans it, unlike Pandora.
LiveXLive used to be Slacker, they were bought and changed their name a couple years ago.
If you want DJs, that's an option you can turn on, they're usually pretty good. They have guest DJ stations, other musicians, actors and what not playing their favorite songs or songs relevant to whatever show/movie they're in.
One of my favorite features is the Artist DNA, channels that play music that inspired or was inspired by some of your favorite artists. I've found a lot of new music thanks to those stations.

I was thinking the proper spin on Reddit you could get people motivated to increase the number of plays enough to make the 0.00024 cents per play profitable.

I didn't think of that, I like the idea but I wouldn't even know where to post it
I've also never tried to link to Spotify. Does this link work for anyone?
