She'll be fine. It will be a pain for her to travel, as the security will be insane--- but the chances of them being hit again in the same place are very, very low. Try not to worry too much, as chances are she'll be ok.
It's done, things are tight, she'll be fine.
Probably not a good idea though to bring "personal protection" because you're a young lady traveling alone.
