GT-R is a case of never meet your heroes. They're incredibly boring to wheel.

That is a good deal. I did recently have my eye on this one: https://dayton.craigslist.org/cto/d/2001-corvette-z06/6521069554.html but it has more miles at $17500 and has been effed with a bit with mods. (Mini tubs in rear, ugh)

I drove one of these in SSP trim at a local autocross year before last. Big fun! A good part of the reason I've been building the monster, that V8 roar and shove is addictive.
They have been falling in my lap constantly since I was laid off. I guarantee that as soon as I start another job, EVERYONE will read the GRM build and the prices will skyrocket.
Sounds like to you need to max out your credit cards buying up all of these deals and then sell them easily when prices skyrocket and PROFIT. What could go wrong?

Yep, still working. A while back, I decided that I wanted an honest, simple vehicle to replace the Jeep and the Rondo. Something to tow with, haul stuff, get dirty...work in essence. I LOVE plain-Jane suburbans, don't want a diesel or a 2500, but the 454 would be good. Could not find anything even close to what I wanted, 200,000+ miles or rusted out or some other issue. Now this pops up. It is exactly what I would have wanted. $3995 too, ouch.
Grrrr, life sucks...I need soemthing to break soon!

Wow. Have you looked at it? Curious if it’s rusty underneath. Ex-Gov means plain-Jane for sure.
That vet was a very nice car. I will have one at some point.
