Thanks to the Suddard clan and their minions for trying to keep this place clean and respectable. I know it must be hard to know where to draw the line.

Pffft, just because the dashcam vid involves a backside instead of poor driving, it gets the ax?
Boo!
Thanks. Picture this message board being like a party, and maybe you don't know everyone there. Some conversations are best not shared with everyone.
When Im on GRM I don't want to have to look over my shoulder before opening a thread or following a link (not talking about any specific link right now) because my family is around. My kids will sometimes read posts over my shoulder and this is one place that used to be totally safe for that to happen. for the most part it still is, and I hope it stays that way.
4 out of 5 of my kids are members here.
I appreciate the effort, and don't mind a bit when a few things vanish.
I wonder what Amy drives...
I need to apologize for that thread I wrote, y'all know which one. I had no one to tell or ask opinions in nearly 25 years, kept it bottled up. Maybe a little too much information but it served it's purpose and I received the answers I was looking for, made my decision and had the thread removed as stated in the OP. I feel better now, I'm good w/ it.
I dunno how you guys lives are. Some appear neat and tidy, some living on the edge, many normal. Mine ain't been normal. I think it's valid to say many here may choose to sort things out through different channels but when things can't be said there the hive is the place. I just feel better writing things out sometimes, many times I've not posted after writing , deleted it, but I felt better.
I'll use better discretion in the future.
Fast it's okay, I realized that I have my own Amy story involving a very well known Amy from 2003-2004. The realization and epiphany made for quite the awkward moment when realized.
I hope that the offender gets a notice that they crossed the line so that I - uh, I mean they - know to shape up.

It had better not be Amy Adams. She is mine!
Sometimes you just have to push the edge of the envelope.
Sorry.
I would remove the video link, but the thread is locked. Y'all will have to refrain from looking at it on your own.
In reply to Giant Purple Snorklewacker:
Nope, in a somewhat ironic thread I, not realizing that I'd had relations with her, started a thread asking her or Taylor Swift.
Also somewhere in the October 2004 Web achieve of the sports and fitness section on carlounge.net there's a thread regarding a evening we spent together during the Curt Schilling bloody sock game.

Hi Fasted58,
Twice now, you’ve done what I consider to be an excellent job of articulating the rationale for your post.
Regrettably, I hi-jacked the “I came home to my wife” thread with a tie in to your situation and I want to apologize for doing that.
Anyway, I’m sure I speak for a huge percent of the people here when I say “we totally understand.”
I wasn't calling anyone out specifically, even though my thread title referenced another thread. I was thinking about young Suddard's comment at the end of that thread. I think it's very classy the way the powers that be here handle things. They try to keep things family-appropriate for the most part, without being the PC Police. That's got to be really hard and I appreciate the work they do in that regard.
I also understand the bizarre need to run things up the flagpole here, I've done it. I think the powers that be keeping things in line is why we feel comfortable running things up the flagpole. It's a safe place.
I'm going to go search for something built by AMC now.

Other sites have sections for those.
Dang, I missed it. Been away from the computer for a few days.
Oh well, I'm sure we'll have some more excitement at some point.

and where exactly are they if I may ask?

Well, I was actually referring to general conversations that aren't for everyone such as on an epilepsy forum where people discuss very personal details about their condition.
As for the previous thread this is referring to, holy hell that went downhill fast!
You'll need to log in to post.
