Okay, so the wife and I are having the toughest time trying to come up with a name that we both enjoy for our little girl that is due in February. If the woman's name wasn't Shelby that would be the easy choice for me. I'm just looking for some new names and suggestions that I can propose to her. This is a very creative crowd, so I am interested to see what you all have to offer.

Phoenix. It is sort of a firebird.
Went through this trying to help my brother name his daughter. We found it pretty tough to pick out a good girl name. He ended up choosing 'Elanor' after his wife's great grandmother and calling her Ellie for short.
SWMBO keeps asking me about kid names for our next one. I always bring up gender neutral names to get on her nerves. Terry, Pat, Randy, etc.

phoenix is a cool name but it's like pat in one of those unisex names. It also sounds like it could be an adult movie star name haha, don't want that. Miata, not a fan of the cars so it wouldn't work.

son was a little different... he was born the same year my wifes grandfather (robert) and my mother (marcia) passed away... so we screwed him with a TON of names...
Mark Robert Cooper Thomas... so we managed to fit a car name into it... lol... wife wanted Cooper to be first but I didn't like how it ran together that way... does suck at the Dr. office or getting mail as my name is Mark Thomas as well lol...

Tempest. It's a Pontiac name, it's also a legit girl's name (Tempist)--means "storm".

If I'd ever had a girl, I would have named her "Elva", after the obscure British sports car.

it's funny when you tell someone her name... the girls/women all are amazed at how pretty the name is... and guys snicker ;-)
Dakota. Yes honey, you're named after a truck.
Auburn. Cool sounding name and a cool car.
Stick with the classics . . . and no weird spelling of them, either.
Our Daughter was easy....Grace. Everyone needs a little Grace in their lives..
Our last son? Carson. Decided on the way to the hospital for the c-section.
We also have a Cam and Gage. Automotive theme WAS NOT implied. It just ended up that way.
Female sounding car names? Mercedes is one I've personally liked.
