It's the manual transmission cables for 2001-2004 Grand Am's and Alero's. I've found a couple sellers through fleabay for just over a Benjamin. Maybe I'm too cheap, but if someone see's one much cheaper, let me know please?
Mine snapped 3 blocks from home, thankfully on the way back.
$100 seems to be the going rate for most manual transmission cables.
I don't think I've ever seen a manual grand am before, junkyard or otherwise.

With SWMBOs urging, I ended up buying through fleabay. Something about being stuck at home without her van for more than a couple days.
I've never seen another Grand Am of this body style w/ a manual at any of the salvage yards near me.
Sounds like something I should keep an eye out for when I DO go to the salvage yards nearby if it goes for that much.

oddly enough, sometimes they are the cheapest place for things like this..
That kinda looks like ATP part number Y-1511. Google that and see if you can make it work. Maybe, maybe not.
