Seems really cool. Sorry if a repost.
Wonder how long it lasts?
If you paint your cans (or bottles) of beer, they should stay colder, longer.

Two questions.
How long does the coating last?
Does it stay flexible?
If it lasts and stays flexible, I'm going to have to try it.
I've been looking into it but didn't know they partnered with rustoleum. I'll have to get some for testing.
Since is was Lancaster Online and the dude was wearing a Millersville U t-shirt I'm guessing it was developed out there? Cool.

i picked some up last week at HD. you can't use it on anything you want to see through, as it dries slightly opaque and hazy. so, no windshields or windows.
but you can do anything else you don't need to see through. there is a vid on youtube of someone pouring water on a jeep wrangler seat that's been treated with the stuff.

I would worry about using it on a boat. you need -some- drag to maintain steerage.

Wouldn't the kayak just hover over the water?!
I'd like to know how long it lasts too. That could be better than grout sealer for tile.
It's got to be expensive as heck.

Some of the other videos on youtube about it show that it doesn't hold up to oils at all, even handling something covered in it causes it to slowly lose it's hydrophobic properties.

Kayak + Never Wet + Leaf Blower = Hover Kayak

Hmmm.....maybe it could prevent canoes from docking? Apply it to the forum?
I'm going to apply it to the inside of my water glasses, and watch the hilarity as my wife tries to pour herself a drink!
IDK about undercoating.....it looks like it doesn't work well on fenders http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzU587qronE
I will probably use it on fabric seats in a car, though....it seems better at that sort of thing

I thought I heard that washing it with water would restore its properties, no?
From what I understand, a decent cleaning with soap will remove it. It doesn't hold up all that well, but if you have something that doesn't get washed regularly, should be good.
I want to try it, but don't have anything that I could try it on (other than just picking random stuff that won't tell me real time).
