Some weeping and gnashing of teeth, plus a whole lotta redemption!

I think that was an inside joke pertaining to This thread.
Welcome!
In reply to Nick_Comstock:
+1 to you and Duke
welcome aboard Cone. What color is the Corolla (please be beige, dear God please be berkleying beige) and can we convince you of doing an engine swap (especially if beige)?
Welcome! archery, eh? Might I interest you in a shameless archery build thread plug?
A new corolla IS weird. Around here. No one buys perfectly reliable beige-mobiles. Though, I don't understand how you only have one corolla at the moment.... I have two and am angling for a third.... Hopefully another wagon. But thats me
ConeArrow27 wrote:Rufledt wrote: Welcome! archery, eh? Might I interest you in a shameless archery build thread plug?Cool i will read it. Ive not made my own bow yet. But i am planning on making my own bamboo arrows.
that will be a part of the build thread a bit later. Currently i'm growing bamboo but none of it is arrow sized (yet). I'll probably add building bamboo atlatl darts which will be similar, just in much larger scale. When I get time, that is...
I berkeleying hate bamboo. Come get ALL of it off my property. Hell, I'll PAYyou to take it.
If only I could find a way to kill it.
Oh yeah, welcome to the asylum. You'll like your stay here, and the wardens ain't bad. Just don't go political or religious.
You said a couple in planning? Can I convince you to do an all wheel drive northstar powered s10?
In reply to Dusterbd13:
check you PM's for 3 proven ways to kill bamboo, if that's what it is (lots of things look like almost exactly like bamboo but aren't, and I don't know how to get rid of those).
In reply to Rufledt: Do you realize how expensive and difficult it is to ship giant pandas across the country don't you?
In reply to captdownshift:
But you can sell the meat and fur afterwards and make back 120% of the original investment! yay capitalism!
Hi ConeArrow27,
This is quite possibly the finest forum on the entire interwebs.
I’ve been around for nearly two decades under different accounts (No, I never got ban hammered, I’d just lose track of my password due to the auto sign-in feature and eventually, my computer would blow up and I’d create a new account.)
Anyway, in the early days, I absolutely depended on this forum as I was a dirt poor student and I either fixed my car myself or I’d miss class, work, everything. I owe a great deal of gratitude to the highly talented and kind people on this board that have helped me more times than I could ever remember and most of all, I am truly indebted to the great people at GRM for making all of this possible.
At this point in my life, the tools I most commonly use to fix my car are a cell phone and a check book but I stick around because the people here have become family.
BTW, the following three code words are commonly used in place of salty language:
E36 M3 = Excrement, Bob Costas = Slang name for small feline, Berkley = fornication.
My daughter in-law has a Corolla Type S and holy E36 M3 is that thing ever fast…well, actually, not really, but welcome aboard
You'll need to log in to post.
