Door handles on a car none of us will buy - most polarizing thing ever. Me and the mrs both hate them.
Life has got you so down that berkin' door handles have polarized your very existence?!?!???
I think he was poking fun at us for talking about them.
I know he was .......wanted to see if he'd poke back
This will be a nice car to buy as a cpo a couple years down the road at a few tion of the price.
OK, you guys know I'm biased as I work for Ford, but I love it. I'm finally happy with the direction Lincoln is going. Don't try and out German the Germans with yet another sports sedan. Keep Lincoln, Lincoln, focus on American Luxury. Got elegance, comfort and a supple ride. Not the old floating yacht like the 70's, but comfort and refinement over lap times. I think the Continental looks awesome and they did a magnificent job of making it look smaller than it is so it's not too shouty. I can't think of a better way to drive from Detroit to Chicago and still feel fresh when you get there. A supreme mile eater.

This vehicle is exactly what speaks Lincoln......elegant door handles and all.....oh and the 400hp AWD is OK too...coming from a 2nd gen CTS-V owner.....if we didn't have dogs to transport,SWMBO would be in this!!!!
now they need a Mark IX. I always liked the Mark VIII, I would like to see what they can do with a modern coupe'

Thats a good point, but I still think they need an extended version of the mustang as the next Mark (insert number here). It needs to be rear wheel drive. Maybe the 6.2L truck engine worked over for maximum luxury "waft" in a James May type way.

As much as I want a stretched mustang for a Mark 9/IX, the MK_ nomenclature of the past decade has complicated that. Maybe bring back normal names and the debut it in a few years along with the launch of the 7th gen mustang.

They ARE ditching the alphabet soup: http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2017/11/mknothing-lincoln-ditched-alphabet-soup/
Besides the Navigator, and Continental, they are introducing the Nautilus and will probably rename the MKZ and MKC and get rid of the MKX and MKT. (as the Nautilus plays in that space)

Going back a way, remember that the Mark # originated as the Continental Mark #. In theory, it can be renamed that, but I doubt it will.

Lincoln has the same issue as Cadillac and Genesis and Infiniti.
They make good cars but they are not fashion accessories like the German cars (think Iphone). So they cannot surcharge like they do.
