It sounds like it's ready to go. Vibrating and noisy. What has to be replaced and where is the best place to get parts? Do I remove it from the rear or inside the freezer? It's a Kenmore Coldspot, Model # 106.54502300.

Usually removed from under the bottom. Before you go that route though, check and make sure the blades aren't covered with grunge and dust. It can make them off balance and cause the vibration and noise. Might just need a good cleaning.
If you need parts use these guys. They have the best online catalog I have ever seen. You can look the part up by model and serial number. They have most parts photographed so you can make sure you're ordering the right part.

+1 to check for schmutz on the blades. DONT oil the bearings it will only make it worse and them the blower stops and then your beer gets warm.
^^ What he said about oil. That is a short term fix. It will gum up.
He said warm beer....eeewwwwwwww

It's in the middle of the freezer (side by side) behind a cover. I'll mess with it tomorrow. Thanks, all.
Oh THAT fan. I have a Kenmore [don't know the model] with a top freezer. The auto-defrost thing keeps crapping out, the heater heats the ice off the fins and is supposed to go down a drain but the drain ices up and water/ice puddles out the front of the door.
I paid Sears $230 to fix it, that lasted 6 weeks. I did it myself three times, removing that panel, fan and radiator thing, and then defrosting the drain hole with a hair dryer.
I just signed up for a Sears service contract, $250, they came and fixed it guaranteed for a year. This time they put a small heating element in the drain hole. When the defroster lights off, so does the drain hole heater.
Pull that back panel off and make sure the fan is situated properly in its holder, also ensure there is nothing like a five gallon bucket of ice cream pushing on the back wall. That fan is about the size of a computer fan and can easily be replaced by unplugging it and popping in a new one. But like I said, it may just be an adjustment problem.

Obviously you are not British.
I had a fan on a dishwasher motor crap out and it made a gawdawful racket, it turned out to have a hub with a set screw that had the fan pressed onto it. The fan was spinning on the hub. Two tack welds and it was back in business, at least till I could get a new one (this was Saturday afternoon). Got the replacement fan, it was a press on. Returned it for a refund and bought a better quality dishwasher.

+1 on these guys. But they're located about 20 minutes from me, so I can pick up. They're a real brick-and-mortar place, with lots of inventory--not some kid in his mom's basement drop-shipping from who-knows-where using his mom's internet connection.
Update: I opened up the panel to the fan inside the freezer and there was a huge chunk of ice that the fan was smacking against. Cleaned the ice away and cleaned the dust away underneath fridge. Easy peasy. Two weeks later, same problem. I think there is a leak between the inner and outer bodies where the ice fill tube enters. The outer plastic piece is glued to the outer body. I separated it from body but seems to be solidly fastened from inside, possibly from foam insulation? The inside pic shows calcium buildup from water leaking, which I think then runs down and freezes by the fan. So, if that is the problem, I'm hesitant about tearing into it and I don't know what the part is. It's not my fridge and it wouldn't cost me anything to have it repaired. If it were mine I'd just tear into it or turn the icemaker off and use trays, lol, but my bro wants it working. Any suggestions?
